KP Group Commits Rs 40 Billion To Gujarat Renewables
The MoU was signed on January 12, 2026, in Rajkot during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, as part of the state’s investment promotion activities.
Under the agreement, KP Group plans to set up renewable energy projects with an aggregate capacity of around 855 MW. The proposed portfolio will include solar power projects as well as inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind–solar hybrid projects.
The projects will be developed across multiple locations in Gujarat, including Devbhumi Dwarka and Kutch (Bhuj). The company said the total proposed investment for these developments is estimated at approximately Rs 40 billion.
The planned capacity addition is expected to support Gujarat’s clean energy transition and contribute to the state’s expanding renewable power ecosystem.
