KP Group to Set Up Hydrogen, EV Fuel Stations Across Gujarat
KP Group, a Gujarat-based renewable energy and infrastructure leader, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Energy and Petrochemicals Department, Government of Gujarat, to establish Hydrogen and Electric Vehicle (EV) fuel stations across the state. The MoU was signed at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (North Region) held at Ganpat University, Mehsana.
The Rs 80 billion investment aims to develop a state-wide network of Hydrogen and EV refuelling stations, generating around 1,000 jobs and supporting Gujarat’s transition to low-carbon mobility. The agreement was formalised in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel.
Dr Faruk G Patel, Founding Promoter of KP Group, said the collaboration would create a future-ready refuelling ecosystem, enabling industries, public transport, and private users to adopt cleaner fuels with confidence while strengthening Gujarat’s position in sustainable infrastructure.
Founded in 1994, KP Group has established itself as a leading player in renewable energy and infrastructure, with projects spanning wind, solar, and green engineering solutions that contribute to India’s energy transition goals.
