KPI Green commissions 40.9 MW hybrid power projects

KPI Green Energy has announced that it has received commissioning approval for 40.96 MW of solar and wind-solar hybrid power projects developed for its clients and those of its subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Private Limited.

In a regulatory filing, the company stated, “We are pleased to announce that we have received charging and energisation approval for 40.96 MW of solar and wind-solar hybrid power projects under our captive power producer (CPP) business segment.”

In a separate filing, KPI Green Energy revealed that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fabtech Group to jointly develop and implement green energy-powered life sciences projects across the globe.

As part of this partnership, all projects executed by Fabtech Group—including conventional and stick-built facilities—will be powered by clean, renewable energy supplied by the KP Group worldwide.

Under the collaboration, KP Group will provide and integrate a mix of solar, wind, hybrid, battery energy storage system (BESS), and green hydrogen-based power solutions for Fabtech’s projects in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors.

The partnership underscores KPI Green’s commitment to expanding its global footprint in the renewable energy and green infrastructure space, while supporting industries in reducing their carbon footprint and advancing towards sustainable energy adoption.
