Linde India Invests Rs 699 Million (mn) In Zenataris Renewable Energy
The infusion brings Linde India’s overall planned funding in the vehicle to Rs 1.05 billion (bn). The transaction follows prior tranches and completes the announced investment programme. The completion closes the funding cycle envisaged in the company filings and leaves the SPV positioned to proceed with project milestones.
Zenataris Renewable Energy was incorporated on eight October 2018 and is engaged in establishing, commissioning, operation and generation of electricity through renewable sources such as wind and solar, and by any other means in India or elsewhere. Its remit includes transmission, distribution, supply and sale of power directly or through transmission lines and facilities of central or state governments or private companies or electricity boards. The company is authorised to supply power to industries, central and state government entities and other consumers, including for captive consumption.
The allotment and completion of the planned investment are intended to support the SPV’s development and operational activities. The proceeds from the allotment correspond to roughly Rs 699.1 million (mn) and will be made available for project implementation, grid connection works and initial operational expenses. Fourth Partner Energy will continue to oversee project execution under the SPV and Linde India’s final tranche completes its declared financial support and underscores continued corporate participation in renewable energy deployment.
