LNK Energy Launches Rs 100 Billion Clean Energy Platform
The company also unveiled its first project—an approximately 6 gigawatt solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production—spread across 60 acres at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar in Maharashtra. LNK Energy said its operations will span advanced manufacturing, green fuels and renewable power generation.
LNK Energy has been co-founded by Paritosh Ladhani, Joint Managing Director of SLMG Beverages, along with Kushagra Nandan, Chairman of REnergy Dynamics, and Varun Karad, its Chief Executive Officer.
Karad said the future of energy lies in integration, where manufacturing, green fuels and renewable power work in tandem. He added that LNK Energy has been structured to address this convergence by deploying advanced technologies to deliver reliable, scalable and sustainable energy solutions for industry and the wider economy.
The company’s strategy is anchored in end-to-end participation across the energy value chain, adoption of future-ready technologies, disciplined long-term capital allocation and alignment with India’s clean energy and manufacturing ambitions. Its upcoming Maharashtra facility will produce high-efficiency solar cells and modules using advanced processes and global best practices.
LNK Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Maharashtra for setting up the project. Over time, the company plans to expand manufacturing into adjacent components such as junction boxes, battery platforms and other energy storage systems, supporting the creation of a robust domestic clean energy ecosystem.
Following the establishment of its manufacturing base, LNK Energy intends to enter green fuels, with a strong focus on green hydrogen, aimed at enabling decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors through scalable, technology-led solutions.
Ladhani said that having built large and complex manufacturing and supply-chain businesses over decades, the promoters believe scale, quality and execution discipline are non-negotiable, and that LNK Energy brings the same institutional mindset to clean energy manufacturing. Nandan added that at a time when energy security, industrial self-reliance and decarbonisation are national priorities, LNK Energy has been conceived as a long-term institution rather than a short-cycle opportunity.
