Magenta Mobility revealed plans to revolutionise the electrification of previously unexplored areas in the last-mile and mid-mile delivery system with the addition of Ace EV to its fleet. Maxson Lewis, Founder and Managing Director of Magenta Mobility, stated in a press release that the partnership with Tata Motors would create opportunities for electrification, expediting the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in urban deliveries. He emphasised their joint mission to enhance sustainability in intra-city logistics in India by reducing the carbon footprint in the last-mile and mid-mile freight segment.

Lewis expressed, in a statement, that this collaboration aimed to drive environmental consciousness in the transportation industry by working closely with Tata Motors. He emphasized their dedication to "Decarbonising Logistics" and underlined the importance of offering clean and sustainable mobility solutions. This, he believed, would contribute significantly to a greener and more eco-friendly transportation ecosystem.

Vinay Pathak, the Business Head of SCV&PU at Tata Motors, stated that the Ace EV, a comprehensive solution developed in collaboration with partners, addresses various intra-city distribution requirements and offers a significant value proposition along with maximum uptime. Magenta Mobility has set ambitious goals, aiming to increase the number of electric vehicles on the road from 1,000 to 10,000 by 2024.
