The tender conditions also permit a security deposit of Rs. 0.1 mn to be retained or submitted for the five-year contract period. The Request for Proposal (RFP) document costs Rs. 5,000 plus 18 per cent Goods and Services Tax (GST) and is non-refundable. Tender processing fees are Rs. 10,000 plus 18 per cent GST, bringing the total to Rs. 11,800.

The contract includes annual price escalation of 5 per cent over the base-year price. The RFP download process began on October 2, 2026, at 16:00 hours, and no pre-bid meeting will be held. Proposals must be submitted online by October 15, 2026, up to 15:00 hours, while technical bids are scheduled to open on October 16 at 15:00 hours.

Participating agencies must have an average annual turnover of at least Rs. 150 mn during FY24, FY25 and FY26. They must also demonstrate a positive net worth and at least five years of experience in solar power plant O&M services.
