MAN Industries (India) Limited has recently secured approval for inclusion in QatarEnergy’s Preferred Manufacturers List (PML) for carbon steel Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) pipes, coating and bends.

The approval makes MAN Industries eligible to bid for large-diameter pipe requirements across QatarEnergy’s project pipeline. QatarEnergy is undertaking a multi-year capital expenditure programme covering exploration, production and infrastructure, including its LNG expansion projects.

The PML approval provides MAN Industries with access to upcoming opportunities within QatarEnergy’s project portfolio and strengthens its existing relationships with national oil companies across the Middle East.

Nikhil Mansukhani, Managing Director, MAN Industries, said the inclusion recognises the company’s manufacturing quality, technical capabilities and ability to meet the stringent requirements of national oil companies.

He added that Qatar remains a significant global energy market and the approval provides the company with a platform to participate in QatarEnergy’s projects over the coming years.

The development, along with MAN Industries’ recent expansion in Saudi Arabia through NPC, is expected to strengthen the company’s position across the GCC and support its strategy of expanding relationships with leading energy companies in the region.
