Mitarsh Energy Wins NTPC 540 MW Solar O&M Tender in Rajasthan

Mitarsh Energy Private secured the L1 position in NTPC Limited's tender to operate and maintain the Nokhra Solar Project, covering 300 megawatt (MW) alternating current and 450 MW direct current capacity. The company also won two additional NTPC projects, a 150 MW AC Devikot solar project equivalent to 208.020 megawatt-peak (MWp) and a 90 MW AC project equivalent to 126.063 MWp. The tender was issued in December 2025 and bids were awarded after four months.

The scope of the comprehensive operation and maintenance contract includes grid-connected systems and day-to-day O&M activities under NTPC Green Energy Limited. Mitarsh Energy will be required to maintain detailed maintenance records for NGEL and to hand those records over at the end of the contract period. The firm will provide safe access across solar plant areas and is required to perform a minimum of three vegetation cleaning cycles each year.

The company said the award reinforced its position among India’s leading O&M service providers. It reported a managed portfolio of over 14 gigawatt-peak (GWp) across the country and a workforce of 1,700+ skilled technical professionals. The company background notes that its early work under founder Naresh Patel built capabilities in maintaining large scale solar plants totalling over 7,500 MWp.

The Nokhra contract, together with the Devikot and the 90 MW sites, expands the firm’s presence in Rajasthan and underlines growing demand for specialist O&M services. The award is expected to require coordinated field teams and technical oversight to ensure reliable generation and longevity of assets. Mitarsh Energy indicated it will focus on delivering efficient and high quality O&M services across the contracted stations. The company will mobilise resources to meet project timelines and regulatory obligations.
