MoS: Collective action for renewable energy targets

Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy and Power, stated that cooperation is needed to meet renewable energy objectives, establish India as a leader in wind energy, and build a cleaner, more promising future for everybody. Speaking on "Global Wind Day," Minister of State Naik commended Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Karnataka for obtaining the nation's largest increases in wind capacity in FY 2023?2024. India has almost forty years of experience producing wind energy. By May, its total installed wind power capacity reached 46.4 GW, making it the fourth greatest in the world. Bhalla encouraged the stakeholders to work together to achieve the sector's short- and long-term goals by highlighting the accomplishments of the previous year.
