NTPC Invites Bids For SAF Plant In Andhra Pradesh
The scope of work includes designing, engineering, fabrication, packing, forwarding, supply, transportation, handling, loading, unloading, storage, and construction activities for the project. The last date for bid submission is 6 November.
The project is part of NTPC’s strategy to diversify into green and sustainable energy segments, aligning with India’s long-term carbon reduction goals.
According to a Deloitte report, India has the potential to produce 8–10 million tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel annually by FY2040, supporting the country’s push for decarbonisation in the aviation sector.
The proposed Pudimadaka facility will mark a significant milestone in NTPC’s transition towards clean fuels, strengthening India’s position in the global green energy market.
