One Indigo Technologies has been declared the L1 bidder in a tender floated by NHPC Limited for grid-connected solar rooftop plants on government buildings in Haryana. The company informed stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations dated seven September 2026 that its bid emerged lowest following evaluation. The tender was issued for selection of a Roof Top Developer to implement projects through the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency on a RESCO mode and on the basis of tariff-based competitive bidding.

Project locations include Palwal, Rohtak, Mahendragarh, Jind and Faridabad, with capacities specified in Kilowatt (kW). The Palwal site is listed at 1,253.54 kW with a tariff of Rs 4.26/kW, Rohtak at 3,800 kW with Rs 4.09/kW, Mahendragarh at 637 kW with Rs 3.75/kW, Jind at 550 kW with Rs 3.75/kW and Faridabad at 2,367.30 kW with Rs 3.45/kW. The tender documentation envisages installation and grid interconnection across various government rooftops administered by HAREDA.

The aggregate estimated value of the tender is approximately Rs 1.4 billion (bn). The notice to the market clarified that emergence as L1 does not by itself constitute a final award and that the contract award will be subject to completion of applicable formalities, issuance of a Letter of Award or Work Order and execution of definitive agreements. Further disclosure will be made once the Letter of Intent or Letter of Award is received and formalities are complete.

Under the RESCO model the developer is expected to install, operate and maintain the rooftop systems while selling power to the procuring agency under the agreed tariffs. NHPC and One Indigo will proceed with post-bid processes and the award timetable will depend on the completion of regulatory and contractual clearances. Market participants and stakeholders will await the formal award and subsequent implementation updates that the company has said will follow.
