Oswal Pumps has received a Letter of Intent from the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation, referred to as TREDCL in the exchange filing and TGREDCO in the accompanying release, for a rooftop solar project across government schools in Telangana. The company disclosed the order in a filing dated September 23, 2026.

The project involves the design, supply, installation and commissioning of 2 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW on-grid solar rooftop photovoltaic power plants across 9,937 government schools in 33 districts. The installations will have an aggregate capacity of 46,705 kW, or 46.7 MW, and will use Mono PERC and TOPCON solar modules with normal structures and remote monitoring systems.

Installation is to be completed within 180 days of receiving the work order. The contract also includes comprehensive maintenance for five years, covering the solar assets installed under the programme.

The exchange filing placed the total order value at approximately Rs. 2.98 bn, including GST. The accompanying company release cited a value of Rs. 2.73 bn, excluding GST. The filing stated that the promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity and that the order does not constitute a related-party transaction.

Oswal Pumps said the project would expand its presence in Telangana and support the adoption of renewable energy infrastructure across educational institutions. Chairman and Managing Director Vivek Gupta described the award as the company’s first major order from the state and said it reflected its technical and execution capabilities. He added that the company would focus on quality, timely delivery and long-term performance.

Oswal Pumps manufactures solar-powered and grid-connected submersible and monoblock pumps, electric motors and solar modules. The company has ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications and is listed under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. It serves agricultural, residential and industrial customers through its distribution network in India and international markets.
