Plumage Solutions and Shenzhen Huntkey Electric have partnered to develop, localise, manufacture and commercialise power products in India.

The collaboration will focus on manufacturing power adapters, power supplies, chargers and other power conversion and charging products, particularly for the IT hardware sector. The partnership will cater to customers in India and international markets, with an initial manufacturing capacity of 1 million units annually from October 2026 at Puducherry.

The partnership combines Huntkey’s product portfolio, technology and engineering expertise with Plumage’s manufacturing infrastructure and understanding of the Indian electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

The companies plan to progressively localise supply chains in India through product customisation, engineering development and component localisation. The initiative will include localisation of components such as chassis, EMI shielding components, PCBAs and other eligible sub-assemblies in line with Make in India and PLI Scheme 2.0 for IT Hardware requirements.

Plumage Solutions is an ODM for IT hardware products and serves global PC brands. Founded in 2015, the company manufactures products including computer monitors, All-in-One PCs, notebooks and power adapters.
