Rays Power Infra Commissions Record One Point One GW Solar Capacity

Rays Power Infra has commissioned a record one point one gigawatt (GW) of solar capacity in the fiscal year, taking its operational portfolio past two point four GW. The company reported the commissioning as a milestone for its growth trajectory in the Asia Pacific region and said the annual addition represented its largest single-year deployment to date. The deployment covered projects at various stages of completion and included grid-connected assets that have entered commercial operation.

It said the commissioned capacity strengthens its position among independent renewable energy developers operating across markets in the region and improves the scale of its asset base for long-term operations. The company highlighted that enhanced scale will support optimisation of generation profiles and lower per-unit operating costs through centralised operations and maintenance practices. Management emphasised that the enlarged portfolio will underpin investor confidence and facilitate access to capital for further expansion.

Commissioning during the year encompassed utility-scale solar parks and distributed generation projects serving commercial and industrial consumers, with engineering, procurement and construction activities completed as per schedules. The company noted integration work with transmission networks and grid balancing measures to support reliable output. Operational teams have been deployed for performance monitoring and preventive maintenance to sustain generation levels and ensure contractual delivery to offtakers.

Rays Power Infra intends to consolidate gains by focusing on project execution efficiency, technology adoption and lifecycle asset management to enhance returns. The firm plans to pursue synergies across development, operations and financing to accelerate capacity additions while managing risk. Company executives indicated commitment to supporting the transition to cleaner energy in the markets it serves and to maintaining a pipeline of projects aligned with industry demand.
