REC Limited, a Maharatna company under the Ministry of Power, recently announced that Awanish Kumar Bharati, General Manager, Finance, has been conferred with the prestigious ICPA Treasury Excellence Award for his leadership and achievements in treasury management.

The award was presented at the National Finance Conclave and Awards 2026, held at Vigyan Bhawan.  Awanish Kumar Bharati received the honour from Meenakshi Lekhi and Dr Harsh Vardhan, in the presence of senior leaders from the finance, banking and policy-making sectors.

Recognised as one of the most respected accolades in the finance domain, the ICPA Treasury Excellence Award celebrates professionals demonstrating strategic vision, technical expertise and impactful leadership in treasury and financial management.
