REI Expo 2025 and Battery Show Highlight India’s Clean Energy Push

The 18th Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo and 3rd Battery Show India (TBSI) opened in Greater Noida, marking a key milestone in India’s clean energy journey. Organised by Informa Markets in India, the event brings together over 1,000 exhibitors, 1,400 brands, and 55,000 professionals under the theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero.”

Dignitaries including Dr Vibha Dhawan, Director General, TERI; Dr Philipp Ackermann, Ambassador of Germany to India; and Shri Manu Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, emphasised India’s accelerating clean energy transition. India has surpassed 250 GW of renewable capacity in 2025 and is targeting 500 GW by 2030.

The event showcased major announcements, including Solis unveiling a 125 kW hybrid inverter, Replus launching a 5 GW energy storage system, and a 5 GW module supply partnership between LONGi and INOX Solar. Industry leaders such as Vikram Solar, Gautam Solar, Goldi Solar, and Dhash PV Technologies highlighted innovations in high-efficiency modules, automation, and localisation.

Supported by the Department of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Heavy Industries, REI and TBSI 2025 reaffirm India’s emergence as a global clean energy powerhouse, driving collaboration, innovation, and sustainable industrial growth.
