RMC Switchgears Secures Domestic Orders Worth Rs 78.6 mn
The first contract, valued at Rs 28.4 million (mn), covers the supply of 100 Amp L.T. distribution kiosks suitable for underground cabling and is governed by standard contract conditions, technical specifications and price variation formulas. The Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act will take precedence in case of any discrepancy. The contract documentation specifies technical compliance and price variation mechanisms.
The second order is worth Rs 50.2 million (mn) and requires supply of one point one kilowatt (kW) UND S panel mounting structures designed with a minimum ground clearance of 600 mm from roof surfaces. RMC Switchgears confirmed in regulatory filings that both orders are from domestic entities, that its promoter, promoter group or group companies have no interest in the awarding companies and that the contracts are not related party transactions and were awarded at arm's length. Both orders are scheduled for completion within the stipulated six month execution window.
The company reported that consolidated net profit fell five point nine per cent to Rs 92.7 million (mn) and that net sales declined 13.7 per cent to Rs one point four three billion (bn) in the quarter ended March 2026 compared with the year earlier period. RMC Switchgears is primarily engaged in switchgear engineering and engineering, procurement and construction contracts for the power distribution and transmission sector. The orders form part of the company's ongoing work in the distribution sector.
