Servotech Wins Rs 740 Million Rooftop Solar Project In Andhra

Servotech Renewable Power System on Wednesday announced that it has secured a rooftop solar project worth about Rs 740 million under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The project has been awarded by the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (NREDCAP), the company said in a statement.

Under the mandate, Servotech will handle the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of rooftop solar plants of varying capacities for 5,886 Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) households. The project will be executed through a utility-led aggregation model and includes five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.

Sarika Bhatia, Whole-Time Director of the company, said: “We are proud to partner with NREDCAP on a project that brings solar energy directly to thousands of community households. This order underscores our commitment to inclusive clean energy growth and demonstrates our capability to deliver large-scale distributed solar deployments with precision and quality.”

The PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is the world’s largest domestic rooftop solar programme, aiming to provide solar power to one crore households by March 2027.
