SJVN bags 200-MW solar project in Maharashtra

SJVN, a state-owned company, announced that its subsidiary SJVN Green Energy has won a 200 MW solar project worth Rs 12 billion from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.

The estimated cost of this project is around Rs 12 billion, and it is expected to generate 455.52 Million Units (MUs) in the first year, with a total energy generation of about 10,480.82 MUs over a 25-year period.

The project's completion is expected to reduce 513,560 tonnes of carbon emissions, contributing to the government of India's mission to reduce carbon emissions.
