Sterling And Wilson Renewable Energy Secures Large Solar Orders
Management said the Coal India award represents the company’s first engagement with the public sector giant in the renewable space and provides an opportunity to participate in broader clean energy deployment. The contract terms include long term operations and maintenance provisions and reflect the competitive nature of large scale procurement. The Maharashtra project further extends the firm’s footprint across key solar states.
With the latest additions the company’s total engineering, procurement and construction order inflows for FY26 have crossed Rs 100.62 bn, marking a milestone against internal targets and signalling robust demand for utility scale solar projects. The inflows underscore the firm’s capacity to secure sizable contracts in a competitive bidding environment and strengthen its near term revenue visibility. Rising deployment of renewables in India continues to create opportunities for established EPC players to scale execution.
The company operates as a global engineering, procurement and construction solutions provider with a portfolio exceeding 26.1 gigawatt peak (GWp), including commissioned and under construction projects, and an operations and maintenance portfolio of 10.1 GWp. It maintains a presence in 28 countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia and the Americas and continues to leverage its global reach while reinforcing domestic execution capabilities. The recent order wins are positioned to reinforce execution strength and support sustained growth as renewable energy demand accelerates in India.
