In an online auction, Ambuja Neotia firm placed the top bid for a 10-acre plot in Nonadanga's Chowbhaga neighbourhood in West Bengal. The consortium submitted a bid for the land to be sold off on a freehold basis for residential or commercial usage of about Rs 2,600 million. The Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation ran the online auction (HIDCO). The 10-acre parcel's opening bid price was set at Rs 1,772 million. Since 2006, Kolkata has observed land lots fetching high prices.c
