Bechtel Engineering and Construction India has secured a contract from Tata Projects to support the delivery of the new Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work includes the construction of the terminal, runways and airside infrastructure, roads, utilities, landside facilities, and ancillary buildings. This is Bechtel’s first association with an airport in India, though last year it became an integrated delivery partner for the Dublin Airport’s capital investment programme.

The new airport at Noida is projected to have an annual passenger handling capacity of 12 mn by 2024.
