Centre releases Rs 5 billion for Tumakuru Smart City project

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the central government has released Rs 5 billion towards Tumakuru Smart City projects. He further stated that the central government has consented to give Rs 10 billion to build a 6,000 km national highway in the state as well as a rail under bridges and rail over bridges. Under the Raitha Sanman scheme, Bommai said Rs 95 billion has been transferred to the bank accounts of farmers.
