JCB India has launched the 20-tonne premium segment excavator JS205LC tracked excavator, developed and manufactured indigenously for the Indian market. It has low fuel consumption in excavation resulting in fuel savings worth Rs 1.3 lakh per year. The heavy duty boom has been designed with 22 per cent bigger sections. The arm sections are 12 per cent deeper and 7 per cent wider to provide high strength. JS 205LC provides improved efficiency by 10 per cent. Its Plexus oil filter system extends hydraulic oil life to up to 5,000 hours, which reduces the maintenance cost.
