Chicago Pneumatic India has launched the CPS 950-300 portable air compressor for waterwell, mining and solar foundation drilling applications.
The new compressor delivers 950 cfm at 300 psig and is designed to support demanding borewell and foundation drilling requirements. The company said the machine offers up to 10 per cent higher fuel efficiency, helping contractors reduce fuel consumption while maintaining consistent drilling performance.
The CPS 950-300 is designed for drilling depths of up to 800 feet, enabling contractors to undertake deeper drilling while improving productivity and controlling operating costs.
The compressor supports both truck- and excavator-mounted configurations, providing flexibility for deployment across rugged job sites. Its single-sided design also allows easier access to service points, helping simplify maintenance and reduce downtime.
Chicago Pneumatic said the machine is suitable for waterwell drilling, coal and iron ore mining, and solar foundation drilling. This multi-application capability is aimed at improving fleet utilisation and enabling contractors to use the same equipment across different projects.
Prasanna Kulkarni, General Manager – Power Technique Customer Center, Atlas Copco (India), said the CPS 950-300 has been designed around productivity, fuel efficiency and profitability, while offering the versatility required across different drilling applications.
With its combination of airflow, pressure, fuel efficiency and flexible mounting, the CPS 950-300 is positioned to help contractors improve drilling output, manage operating costs and increase equipment utilisation across multiple applications.
