Bengaluru, December 8, 2025: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will host the 13th edition of EXCON 2025, South Asia’s largest construction equipment exhibition, from December 9 to 13 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Spread across 3.5 million sq ft, the event will feature more than 1,250 exhibitors, including 134 international participants from 20 countries, with seven dedicated country pavilions representing France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, China and the UK.
Since its inception in 2000, EXCON has evolved from a trade showcase into a major construction equipment festival and a key launchpad for new machinery and technology. Currently the third largest CE exhibition in the world, EXCON aims to become the second largest by 2032, supporting India’s growing infrastructure sector.
“India is on a historic growth trajectory, aiming to become a $30 trillion economy by 2047 under the Viksit Bharat vision. Infrastructure will be the backbone of this transformation, with ₹11.21 lakh crore allocated for FY2025-26. EXCON supports this vision by serving as the largest platform for technology adoption, mechanisation and sustainability in construction,” said R. Mukundan, President Designate, CII and Chairman, EXCON 2025.
Highlighting its scale, the edition will showcase live demonstrations, automation technologies, IoT and AI-driven equipment, and sustainability-focused solutions. “EXCON 2025 is set to establish new benchmarks in scale and diversity, bringing together global technology leaders and innovation hubs under one roof. More than 300 product launches are expected,” said Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII.
“The construction equipment industry aims to make India the second largest CE market globally, tripling its size to US$25 billion and emerging as a global manufacturing and export hub. EXCON 2025 reflects this momentum and aligns with the nation’s ambition of rapid, tech-enabled infrastructure growth,” added Deepak Shetty, Co-Chairman, EXCON 2025.
The event will focus on investment, technology exchange and collaboration, while reinforcing Karnataka’s position as a key CE manufacturing hub. CII has invited industry stakeholders to participate, explore business partnerships and contribute to India’s infrastructure expansion.
