JCBL South has manufactured and delivered 1,000 20-foot CSC Certified Containers to GE Vernova for deployment in the United States. Developed entirely for export, the order is among the company's largest international clean energy infrastructure manufacturing projects to date.
Based in Oragadam, JCBL South executed the order for GE Vernova's Grid Solutions business. The containers are designed to house Flex Inverter systems used in Hybrid Renewable Power Stations, a key component of the company's renewable energy infrastructure portfolio.
The project was executed entirely in-house, covering design, fabrication, assembly, painting, testing and final dispatch. The containers were manufactured to meet global standards for quality, safety and operational performance.
To fulfil the order at scale, JCBL South established a dedicated production line and improved production planning efficiencies while reducing rework levels. The project also involved specialised workforce training in sealant and paint operations to ensure consistency and finish quality across all units.
"India is increasingly being looked at as a serious manufacturing base for global clean energy infrastructure," said Mr Rishi Aggarwal, Managing Director, JCBL Group. "Delivering 1,000 CSC Certified Containers for GE Vernova reflects the scale, process discipline, and manufacturing quality that Indian companies can now deliver for global energy projects. It is also an important milestone in JCBL Group's clean energy manufacturing journey."
Sandip Chakroborty, Managing Director, JCBL South, said the project required the company to build dedicated systems, stabilise processes and train teams for specialised operations while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
The delivery strengthens JCBL South's position as a manufacturing partner for renewable energy infrastructure and aligns with the group's plans to expand its presence in the clean energy sector.
