Kosol Energie Commissions 31 MW Solar Project in Kutch
The installation incorporates high-efficiency 550 Wp bifacial solar modules that enable dual-side absorption to enhance energy conversion and yield. A single-axis tracker mounting system has been installed to maximise solar capture across daily sun cycles and improve plant performance. The design and component selection were intended to ensure long-term reliability and operational stability in the region’s climatic conditions. The tracker system and bifacial modules were selected to boost annual energy yield and reduce the levelised cost of energy.
Company leadership described the commissioning as a significant step in its delivery of large-scale renewable solutions and highlighted the combination of advanced technology and execution capability. Management indicated that the project strengthens Gujarat’s renewable capacity while supporting national sustainability objectives and energy security. Kosol Energie positioned the development as evidence of its execution capabilities and ongoing commitment to India’s clean energy transition. The project aligns with the company’s broader portfolio expansion in the region.
The company anticipated that the plant would contribute to clean power generation in the region and aid reductions in carbon emissions while meeting growing demand through sustainable sources. The project was presented as reinforcing Kosol Energie’s role as a trusted partner for public utilities and as a reference for future deployments. Ongoing operation and maintenance plans were noted as central to securing long-term performance and beneficiary value. The development was described as a replicable model for similar utility-scale deployments.
