Mahindra’s Construction Equipment business has unveiled the Mahindra COMPAX, a new mini compactor for the road construction industry, at the CII-organised EXCON exhibition held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. Alongside the launch, the company also showcased its advanced CEV-V range of machines, designed to set higher benchmarks in comfort, productivity, performance and operator earnings.

Speaking at the event, Dr Venkat Srinivas, Business Head – Mahindra Truck, Bus and Construction Equipment, and Executive Director and CEO of SML Mahindra Ltd, said Mahindra’s commercial vehicles and construction equipment are known for their advanced technology, fuel efficiency, robust build and reliability. He added that the Mahindra COMPAX carries the same DNA and is expected to deliver higher profitability for customers, backed by the company’s deep understanding of India’s infrastructure challenges and strong indigenous manufacturing capabilities.

Mahindra Construction Equipment has an established presence in the segment, led by the Mahindra RoadMaster motor grader, which holds over 18 per cent market share and is positioned as a cost-effective solution for faster road construction. The company also highlighted the Mahindra EarthMaster backhoe loader, known for enhanced torque, fuel efficiency and features that improve productivity and operator earnings.

The business is supported by a growing service and spares network of more than 136 touchpoints across the country. This includes over 51 dealerships with service facilities, authorised service centres, dedicated sales outlets and more than 50 spare parts locations, ensuring strong after-sales support for customers.
