Zoomlion Expands European Manufacturing and Service Network

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co. Ltd. has expanded its localisation strategy in Europe by strengthening its manufacturing, service, technology and partner networks across the region.

Following a partner meeting held at Zoomlion’s factory in Germany and a visit to its German subsidiary m-tec, the company outlined plans to enhance local sales, manufacturing capabilities, service support, talent development and digital solutions while improving spare parts availability and customer response.

During the partner meeting, customers and partners from several European countries discussed market opportunities, product development, service capabilities and future localisation plans. Participants acknowledged improvements in Zoomlion’s product quality and technology capabilities while highlighting the need for stronger after-sales support, wider product offerings and faster service response.

Zoomlion Chairman and CEO Zhan Chunxin highlighted Europe’s strategic importance for the company and reaffirmed its commitment to developing long-term local capabilities. The company plans to expand its spare parts and service network while introducing a customer-focused digital service platform to streamline service requests, equipment tracking and access to operational information.

Mr Zhan also visited m-tec’s production and research and development facilities in Germany, reviewing its operations and technology initiatives, including developments in 3D printing applications. Since joining Zoomlion in 2014, m-tec has continued to contribute its expertise in dry-mix mortar machinery and building materials while collaborating with Zoomlion on technology, products and market expansion.

Zoomlion has established a localised footprint across Europe through manufacturing and operational facilities, including CIFA in Italy, m-tec, WILBERT and RABE in Germany, and an aerial work platform factory in Hungary. These facilities enable the company to combine global resources with local manufacturing expertise and customer support capabilities.

The company aims to further strengthen its European presence by integrating global technologies with regional capabilities to improve customer service and support long-term growth in the market.
