Praveer Sinha, CEO and Executive Director, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd, and Dr Ajay Ranka, CEO, Zydex Industries, have received the Marico Innovation Foundation award in the business category for 'India's Best Innovations.' Ranka won the award for developing the world's first Silane nanotechnology-based additive to improve life-cycle of roads. Sinha was awarded for developing anti-theft electronic meters to address the issue of highly rampant AT&C losses. These firms were awarded on the basis of uniqueness, impact and sustainability.
