Terminal (EDCT) was commissioned at Juhu in Mumbai, and Goa airports in the first phase, and Visakhapatnam airport has now received the facility. The commissioning of the GPRS-enabled EDCT will facilitate the non-scheduled airlines to make payment of airport charges to AAI through credit,debit or corporate cards. Initially, casual operators have been paying airport charges through cash and pilots or flight handlers were required to carry a large amount of cash for making payments to the AAI.
