Architectural hardware brand AIDO, an endorsed brand of dormakaba, showcased its SLYNK Profiled Door System at the Design Debate Chennai Edition 2026, highlighting a new range of door solutions designed for contemporary residential and commercial interiors.
The company said the SLYNK series combines performance, functionality and refined aesthetics, offering architects and designers a profiled door system that enhances spatial flow while maintaining a clean, minimalist appearance. Developed with dormakaba’s global engineering expertise, the system is designed for durability and smooth movement while supporting improved space utilisation in modern environments.
The Chennai edition of Design Debate featured panel discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions involving leading professionals from the architecture and design community. The platform provided AIDO an opportunity to present its product innovations to architects, designers and industry stakeholders, while participating in conversations around evolving design trends and the future of built environments.
The SLYNK series supports multiple door applications including wooden doors, framed glass doors and frameless glass doors. AIDO said this flexibility allows designers to choose configurations aligned with the aesthetic needs of different interior spaces, ranging from warm and traditional wooden designs to sleek frameless glass options that enhance openness and natural light.
The range includes several application systems such as invisible sliding, pocket sliding, moving sliding, telescopic sliding, synchro sliding and single leaf systems. These systems are designed to deliver silent operation, reliability and long-term performance, while concealing mechanical components for a streamlined architectural finish.
The SLYNK series is offered in premium finishes including Black Matte, Brush Gold and Brush Champagne. According to the company, the system addresses growing architectural demand for space optimisation, fluid movement and minimalist design, enabling seamless integration across varied interior concepts.
AIDO said the showcase enabled design professionals to explore the role of profiled door systems in redefining spatial planning and movement within modern interiors.
