Alpha Corp Development has acquired three stalled projects of Earth Infrastructures Limited through the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) resolution process, following a Supreme Court judgment restoring the company’s resolution plan under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
The projects include commercial developments Earth TechOne and Earth Sapphire Court in Greater Noida, along with the residential project Earth Copia in Gurugram. The development is expected to provide relief to more than 3,000 homebuyers and commercial-space buyers affected by delays spanning over a decade.
The Supreme Court, through its judgment dated May 5, 2026, restored Alpha Corp’s resolution plan in Civil Appeal No. 1526 of 2023, overturning an earlier National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) order that had rejected the plan. The Court observed that continued delays would adversely impact buyers and directed that the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority recover only principal dues while waiving penal interest and extension charges.
Commenting on the development, Santosh Agarwal said, “The restoration of the Resolution Plan marks an important and positive step towards the resolution of these long-stalled projects.”
Alpha Corp is expected to invest around Rs 750 crore towards project completion, redevelopment and infrastructure upgrades, with an estimated revenue potential of around Rs 1,200 crore. The company stated that it will oversee construction, regulatory coordination and phased delivery, while also evaluating design modernisation and amenity enhancements to align the developments with current market requirements.
