Construction and design company BCD Group has expanded its offerings by launching Casadilusso, a new interior design arm. This move strengthens their vertical integration strategy, allowing them to provide a comprehensive solution for real estate developers and home buyers.
The decision reflects a growing trend in the industry. Developers are increasingly seeking ?one-stop-shop? contractors who can handle everything from design and engineering to construction, all under one roof. This approach improves efficiency and productivity for developers.
?With over seven decades of experience in developing state-of-the-art commercial, residential and public infrastructure, we are using our learnings to strengthen our business by investing in backward and forward integration. The launch of our interior design arm, Casadilusso, is in line with this vision, which will help us become a one-stop shop for developers? varied needs. This will further help us tap into the burgeoning interior design industry and accelerate our revenue growth while creating a niche for ourselves in an entirely new space,? said Angad Singh Bedi, Managing Director at BCD Group.
BCD Group has ambitious plans for Casadilusso, aiming to furnish 3 million square feet of real estate within the next five years. This growth will be fuelled by their existing 14 million square feet of on-going construction projects and partnerships with domestic and international developers.
Casadilusso has already secured projects in Bangalore, Indore, Lucknow, and the UAE. The company expects its interior design arm to contribute 17% of their total revenue within the next three years.
"We've always strived to understand the industry's evolving needs," says Jasna Bedi, CMO, BCD Group & Founder, Casadilusso. "Casadilusso allows us to offer end-to-end design services, catering to every aspect from flooring to electrical and decoration. This provides a holistic experience for our clients."
BCD Group is well-positioned to capitalise on the booming Indian interior design market. According to Mordor Intelligence, the market generated revenue of $22.21 billion this year and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 18%. Commercial real estate leads the demand, followed by the residential segment.
Furthermore, the projected growth of the Indian real estate sector ? expected to reach $5.8 trillion by 2047 ? will significantly benefit BCD Group's interior design services. This growth aligns with Knight Frank India's report 'India Real Estate: Vision 2047,' which forecasts a significant rise in both residential and office real estate output.
