The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is set to undertake a groundbreaking real estate survey, marking a significant step towards enhancing urban planning in the city. This pioneering survey aims to evaluate various facets of a property and propose measures to elevate the urban living experience.

As part of this comprehensive survey, the BDA will assess multiple components of real estate properties, including their sewerage and drainage systems, solid waste management practices, parking facilities, security measures, and more. Subsequently, a thorough examination of the property's compliance with regulatory parameters will also be conducted.

Official sources have clarified that the primary objective of this survey is to gain insights into the existing state of infrastructure within properties across the city. The findings will serve as a foundation for improving and upgrading the urban infrastructure, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for residents.

BDA's Planning Member, Gouri Shankar Bhuyan, explained, "A consultant will be selected to conduct the survey on behalf of BDA. They have been tasked with evaluating these specific parameters and are expected to submit a comprehensive report within three months. Subsequently, we will determine the next course of action."
