Bhumika Realty to Invest Rs. 10 bn in Faridabad by March 2027
Bhumika Group chairman and managing director Uddhav Poddar said the company had acquired around 50 acres in Faridabad and was continuing to look for additional opportunities. The company is expanding its presence across residential, plotted and mixed-use projects, supported by institutional partnerships.
Its current development is a 5-acre mixed-use project on Delhi-Mathura Road, involving an investment of Rs. 7 bn. The project will include 88 premium 3BHK apartments measuring between 2,650 sq ft and 2,950 sq ft in a 27-storey building. Apartment prices will range from Rs. 30 mn to Rs. 40 mn, while projected revenue from sales is Rs. 15 bn.
Retail facilities will occupy the podium and first four floors, with the clubhouse on the fifth and sixth floors. The project has an experience centre at the ICON development, and the company said construction was under way. ICON has secured approximately 100,000 sq ft of retail leasing, including space for Lifestyle, PVR INOX, Samsung and an Apple reseller. Lifestyle has leased 24,000 sq ft, while PVR INOX will operate a 25,000 sq ft multiplex.
The project is being developed under the Transit-Oriented Development policy, which previously capped residential development at 30 per cent of permissible development. Bhumika Realty has also acquired land in multiple Faridabad sectors, including a 20-acre project in Sector 114 that has received its development licence and is awaiting RERA registration. The company plans to offer residential plots there and is evaluating a branded residences project spread across 5 to 10 acres.
