Dubai-based real estate firm DAMAC has established a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Noida and plans to hire more than 250 employees to support its core business operations. The company also announced that it will soon open a second GCC in Pune.

DAMAC Group has launched its new global services arm, DAMAC Shared Services India (DSSI), to anchor these operations. The firm has leased 22,622 sq ft of office space in Noida to house the new centre.

According to the company, the capability centres will play a key role in functions such as finance, operations, sales, marketing, human resources, projects, commercial activities and digital services. While the Noida centre will employ over 250 staff, the Pune facility is expected to have 100 employees by 2026.

Hussain Sajwani, Founder of DAMAC Group, said India’s talent pool and technology maturity make it a strategic choice for shared services. He added that the company aims to build high-performing teams by 2026 to support DAMAC’s global ambitions.

A July report by US-based real estate consultancy Vestian noted that India hosts nearly 1,700 GCCs across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, accounting for around fifty-three per cent of the 3,200 such centres worldwide.

MP John, Chief Human Capital Officer at DAMAC, said the company is investing in India’s human-capital strengths to transform how it operates across regions. He emphasised a focus on innovation, empowerment and global collaboration across the India hubs.
