DDA to offer 2,500 flats under Sasta Ghar Scheme

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will offer 2,500 flats under the second phase of its Sasta Ghar Scheme from November 14, providing affordable housing for low- and middle-income groups. The flats, located across Delhi, will be available through an online application process with eligibility criteria. Part of the government’s urban housing initiative, the scheme aims to address the housing shortage by offering competitively priced homes to promote urban development.

India accounts for 70% of office demand in APAC

India dominated the Asia Pacific office market in Q3 2024, accounting for over 70 per cent of demand with 17.3 mn sq ft leased, led by Bengaluru and Hyderabad as per Colliers. Grade A space rents rose up to 10 per cent year-onyear. India added 14.4 mn sq ft of new supply, keeping vacancy at 17 per cent. APAC office growth reached 10.7 per cent year-on-year, with India, Singapore, and New Zealand leading leasing growth, driven by demand for sustainable, premium workspaces.
