Godrej Acquires Pune Land for Rs 42 Billion Project

Godrej Properties Ltd has acquired a 14-acre land parcel in Pune's Kharadi–Wagholi corridor to develop a premium housing project with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 42 billion. The company disclosed the acquisition through a regulatory filing on Monday as part of its continued expansion strategy.

The project is expected to offer 3.7 million square feet of developable area, focused mainly on high-end group housing. Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, stated, “Kharadi–Wagholi is one of Pune’s most desirable micro-markets. We’re pleased to enter this area and expand our presence in the city.”

He added that the company aims to deliver a high-quality development that ensures long-term value for future residents. Based in Mumbai, Godrej Properties maintains a strong footprint in major Indian metros including the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Pune, and has recently ventured into Hyderabad.
