Godrej Buys 14-Acre Land in Pune for Housing

Godrej Properties Ltd has acquired a 14-acre land parcel in the Kharadi–Wagholi area of Pune, with plans to develop premium group housing. The project is expected to yield around 3.7 million square feet of saleable space and generate estimated revenue of approximately Rs 42 billion.

Strategically located near major commercial hubs in Kharadi, the site offers connectivity to key infrastructure such as schools, hospitals, shopping centres, and the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj International Airport. The Kharadi–Wagholi micro-market is witnessing strong demand driven by its proximity to IT and business zones, making it a prime residential destination in Pune.

Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, said, “Kharadi–Wagholi is among Pune’s most sought-after residential areas. This acquisition strengthens our presence in Pune and aligns with our broader strategy to expand across key micro-markets in India. We aim to deliver a high-quality development that provides lasting value to its residents.”
