HCBS Developments has completed the diaphragm wall (D-wall) construction at its Twin Horizon residential project in Sector 102, Gurugram, achieving what the company claims is the fastest D-wall execution in the micro-market.
The D-wall, constructed for three basement levels, extends 545 metres in length and reaches a depth of 18 metres. According to the developer, the work was completed in just 2.5 months despite challenging soil conditions in the area, significantly ahead of the industry average of more than four months for projects of a similar scale.
The company attributed the achievement to proactive planning, timely decision-making and close coordination among project stakeholders. HCBS said the accelerated pace was achieved without compromising on engineering standards or construction quality.
"Construction speed is often seen as a function of machinery and manpower, but in reality it begins much earlier—with intent, planning, and the ability to make timely decisions," said Saurab Saharan, Group Managing Director, HCBS Developments Limited. "Completing the diaphragm wall in just 2.5 months despite complex ground conditions reflects the strength of our execution framework and the dedication of all teams involved."
The D-wall package was executed by Indiabuild Infra. Arun Bishnoi, Director, Indiabuild Infra, said the milestone was made possible through technical expertise, meticulous planning and continuous support from the developer.
The completion of the diaphragm wall marks a key stage in the project's construction programme and paves the way for the next phase of development. Located along the Dwarka Expressway corridor, Twin Horizon is positioned as one of HCBS Developments' flagship residential projects in Gurugram.
