International architectural advisory practice Hyphen has expanded its presence in India, with its Mumbai office growing to a team of 10 architectural professionals within five months of its establishment.
The company expects to increase the size of its Mumbai team by a further 50 per cent by the end of the year as part of its international growth strategy. The office will support projects and clients across Europe, Australia, Latin America and other markets.
The Mumbai operation is led by Bhavna Muttreja Jain, an architect with more than 17 years of international experience across India, Malaysia, Canada and the United States. Her experience spans residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use and healthcare projects.
Hyphen said the Mumbai office provides access to India's architectural and technical talent while supporting its plans for further growth in India and the Asia-Pacific region.
The Mumbai team, which has a combined 75 years of experience in international architecture projects, is working with teams across Europe, Australia and Latin America. The team is also undergoing professional development programmes covering the company's processes, building information modelling (BIM) standards and quality assurance procedures.
“India represents an important step in our international growth strategy,” said Eva Diego, CEO of Hyphen.
Hyphen plans further recruitment in Mumbai over the coming months as it expands its international operations.
