IHCL’s Gateway brand debuts in McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh, marking its foray into the culturally rich hill town. The brownfield project is being developed in partnership with Mcleo Times Square.

The 65-key hotel will be located within walking distance of the Dalai Lama Temple and the bustling McLeodganj market. Perched on a cliff, it will offer panoramic views of the Dhauladhar range and surrounding valleys. Key amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, bar, spa, fitness centre, and meeting rooms.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive VP – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said the signing aligns with IHCL’s focus on expanding in key leisure destinations across Himachal Pradesh such as Shimla, Manali, and Dharamshala.

Rahul Pathania of Mcleo Times Square expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, adding that the hotel would provide a modern yet authentic hospitality experience in the region.

With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Himachal Pradesh grows to 13 hotels, including 8 under development.
