Jaipur Development Authority Unveils Five Land Pooling Schemes

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has proposed five land pooling schemes to enable planned urban expansion across Jaipur, covering industrial, residential and mixed-use projects.

The schemes are located along Mahal Road and on Agra Road, Kalwar Road and near Tonk Road in Sanganer.

On Mahal Road JDA has identified a 127.08-hectare plot in Ramchandrapura that straddles Rampura and Kanwarpura villages for an industrial zone, with 58 per cent of the land allocated to industrial and recreational uses and road networks up to 200 feet wide.

A separate Mahal Road parcel of 266.42 hectares covering Vidhani, Rampura, Kanwarpura, Jaichandpura and Vimalpura villages has been earmarked primarily for residential development.

On Agra Road a plot near Khori Ropada village has been proposed for development under a heritage city plan that will combine residential and industrial components.

A mixed-use scheme of over 380 hectares is proposed on Kalwar Road to accommodate varied economic and housing needs.

In the Muhana Mandi area near Tonk Road the mixed-use scheme allocates 62 per cent of land to residential use while also providing for public and semi-public purposes.

Officials said the schemes will be advanced through detailed planning, stakeholder consultations and statutory notifications to finalise land pooling arrangements and infrastructure provision.

The JDA expects the measures to facilitate organised growth, improve access to services and create opportunities for employment and housing without compromising heritage and environmental considerations.

The authority will publish further details as individual scheme drafts are prepared and responses are sought from affected communities.
