KEC International, a global infrastructure EPC major and an RPG Group company, has recently secured new orders worth Rs 11.5 billion across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Civil businesses in India.

In the T&D segment, the company’s India business has won its largest-ever order from a reputed private sector player. The order includes execution of a 765 kV transmission line along with a 765/400 kV AIS substation on a lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) basis, supporting the evacuation of renewable energy.

In the Civil segment, KEC International has secured an additional order for civil and structural works for a 150 MW thermal power plant from a prominent private developer. The order further strengthens the company’s presence in the thermal power plant construction segment.

Commenting on the development, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, said the order wins mark a significant milestone, particularly the large composite order in the India T&D business. He noted that the project has meaningfully increased the share of private sector clients in the company’s domestic T&D order book, while the Civil business continues to expand its footprint in power infrastructure.

With these orders, KEC International’s year-to-date order intake has crossed Rs 180 billion, reinforcing the company’s confidence in achieving its annual order intake targets.
