Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd has signed an agreement to open Lemon Tree Hotel, Simara, Nepal, further expanding its regional footprint. The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. With this addition the group will have seven properties in Nepal, including two operational and five upcoming hotels, reflecting a focused approach to building presence across high growth gateway cities and transit led markets.

Simara is positioned as a bridge between the region's industrial centres and ecological attractions and lies two km from Simara Airport, providing a strategic entry point for travellers. The location is expected to serve those navigating commercial corridors and emerging eco-tourism sites and to offer the infrastructure needed for Nepal's next phase of travel evolution.

The upcoming property will feature 98 well appointed rooms designed to meet modern traveller needs for comfort and connectivity. It is planned to include a multi-cuisine restaurant, a lounge, expansive banquet and conference facilities, and wellness amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, and a fitness centre.

The signing underscores Lemon Tree Hotels' strategy to deepen its presence in gateway and transit led markets where demand visibility and long term growth potential are strong. The company noted that Nepal's tourism sector is maturing and demand for branded, reliable hospitality is expanding beyond traditional circuits, and highlighted its broader portfolio of 130+ hotels across 80+ cities and a pipeline of 130+ upcoming properties as it continues to scale regionally.
