NBCC Secures Rs 8.012 bn In New Orders

NBCC has announced the award of new domestic contracts totalling Rs 8.012 billion (bn), strengthening its project pipeline and its position among government owned infrastructure and project management companies. The largest assignment was awarded by the Reserve Bank of India for project management consultancy for construction of an office complex and residential accommodation in the Amaravati area of Andhra Pradesh. The work covers the RBI office complex at Nelapadu and officers and staff residential complex at Inavolu near Amaravati. The RBI contract alone is valued at Rs 7.8038 billion.

Under the RBI mandate NBCC will provide project management consultancy services and oversee civil construction responsibilities as required by the client, coordinating design review, procurement and construction monitoring. The contracts are to be executed in the normal course of business and were awarded by public sector authorities through standard procurement processes. The company indicated that the figures reported exclude goods and services tax.

In addition the company secured a separate order from the Odisha School Education Programme Authority for construction of hostels under the DA JGUA scheme across multiple districts of the state. That order is valued at Rs 0.2082 billion, equivalent to 208.2 million (mn), and covers civil construction of hostel facilities intended to support school education objectives. The award complements the larger RBI assignment and adds diversity to the project mix across regions. The combined wins are positioned to contribute to near term execution volumes and cash flows.

The announcement was issued as part of routine corporate disclosures and is presented for informational purposes by the company, which remains focused on government infrastructure work. Management expects the fresh orders to bolster the order book and provide measurable revenue visibility during subsequent reporting periods. Stakeholders will monitor progress as NBCC mobilises resources to commence the contracted activities.
