The authorities in Noida and Greater Noida have developed a six-point plan to handle problems in group housing developments, recoup developer debts, and promote registries.

The strategy calls for cancelling plot allocations for unfinished projects, allowing co-developers to finish them if they become stuck, giving choices for resignation, and even cancelling non-compliant projects. The strategy also calls for rescheduling past-due payments to contractors and streamlining the issuance of sublease deeds for projects that are almost finished.

The authorities may ban developers or provide recovery certificates if they didn't use these settings.
